INDECISION

Bronze 2006

H 26'' x W 36'' x D 36''

Indecision introduces the collection’s use of the key as a device to portray the endless possibilities in the search for identity and knowledge. The two contrasting torsos of the figure speak to the inner duality of man and the conflict that can result from an overabundance of ideas and options. This stage of the existential experience displays the opposing forces of hope and resignation on the subject. The themes of fear and the courage to persevere are central to the artist’s entire collection.
